i think parents should know about there children life online just for there safety so they wont do anything crazy cause a lot of things thy should not be doing

can cell phones be educational tools ?

• yes i think cell phones can be educational tools it can help you with a lot and guide you with stuff you need to be  guided with . if you need some help with your project or stuck on a question and you not round a computer your cell phone is right there to help you . or if your cellphones has note taking you can take notes in your phone and carry them with you .

teenagers should show adults respect but only if the adults whiling to give it back cause i honestly think age is nothing but a number if you don't show me respect i will not show you respect . if you don't listen to me i will not listen to you. don't do nothing that you don't want people to do with you.other wise treat somebody the way you wanna be treated  i think it is important to show adults respects its apart of growing up cause i am sure when teenagers get older they gonna want respect from kids

What do you think is the difference between the Internet and cable/satellite TV?  How are these similar?  Do you think that these and other technologies will converge? 

they both technologies usage but i think internet is a global system of interconnected computer network that use the standard internet protocol suit to serve billions of users worldwide.
cable is to carry an audio or video signal from one device to another. Cables carry signals between dvd players and tvs stereo receivers and speakers and computers and video projectors.

Would you rather talk on the phone or text message someone? Why?

if i am close with the person i can talk on the phone. if i am not that close with the person and i don't feel comfortable i have to text the person cause i will feel more comfortable with that person while texting

i understand both but more of what i hear because what i hear is broken down more where i can really understand and it get right to the point.

Why do you think reading comprehension is so important? what can you do to improve your Reading Comprehension?

students have to do reading in every thing they do Students who struggle with reading comprehension may fall so far behind in school when they become adults they not gonna know that much.

Would You Trade Your Paper Books for Digital Versions?

I would not trade my paper books for digital versions.Because sometimes my internet don't work. So there for i have the book so i want go threw that hole process of finding internet. When there's a book but them i probably be some where else and don't have my text book because nobody gonna carry a text book around with them all day and the computer right there so therefor i prefer both so when I am out i can jump on the computer or when i am home i can just use the text book. both of them would be good. but if i only have to choose one i would choose digital versions because i am not gonna carry around  a big heavy text book when i can go just get on the computer and everything is right there and if my computer don't work i can just go to the liberty.

Do you think that some people spend too much time on the Internet and does this stop them from seeing their friends? Why?

i think people are spending to much time on the internet but i do dont think its taking away from seeing thier friends  because i think their friends be right on the internet right with them talking to them

i work better with music the type of music i like to listen to is CLUB , HIP HOP and R&B it helps me focus and get into my work a little more its just relaxing

if i seen someone getting bullied i wouldn't say anything. cause they gonna turn around and bully me the person that is getting  bullied should say something there self and need to open there mouth that is not my business to say something

It gives you the ability to bookmark different things on there that you may like and want to get to easily. Delicious would help you with anything that you want it to help you with.

I think it's important because how can you do something and not know what you doing and fully understand that's why it's good to ask questions and take notes in class.

i do not think parents should spy on there kids everybody need there privacy. if they wouldn't like it if there parents spy on the, they shouldn't spy on there kids

-I think it means that there are some people on the internet that dont have no since  and that the web can be dangerous. Its relevant to me by me being more careful when I'm on the web.   

Some web sites hold very dangerous information, for example how to make a bomb. How can we control these Web sites?

the way we can stop all this is to block all the web sites that contains dangerous things like this or just warn people and tell them the consequence for doing things like this and they wont do it cause they wouldn't want to do the consequence.

for this class i think i should include :name or email address i shouldn't include my phone number where i live or any other information that is personal to you.

there is no difference between on telephone and computer they both run threw wires.but then Again when they say something unkind you have the message right there i they try and Deni it and over they phone is good to because you can tell if that's them or not really saying things like that i think people that say unkind things over the computer and telephone is punks cause they can not come face to face with you and say it

being friendly effect you because being friendly brings a lot of drama, arguments and other things like that you just need your friends that you know you can always run to and always have your back when you need them. the other people just bring a lot of hate to you and problems that you don't need !

The potential problem in giving someone your password is that if problems happens, your not sure what they can do. they can change your password and start putting all the wrong things on your website. This may be okay if you very close with the person and you can trust them other than that you shouldn't give your password !

Do you think that flaming is acceptable? What do you think is the right thing to do when someone Flames you or someone you know? What advice would you give others?

i do no think flaming other people is acceptable because you would not want that done to you. if i see someone flaming me i would beat them up when i see them and if i see somebody else doing it to somebody that i know i would say nothing its not my business cause soon as i say something they gonna try and flam me.

do not give out you name or address on any website you should not trust anybody if you don't know them They sometimes don't be the person who they claim to be so do not trust them If you decide to meet someone in person from online  go to a a open place were slots of people at and that can see you just in case something go wrong and let yours friends or family know were you gonna be at and who you gonna be with.Be careful with your details put on the internet and  Always be careful what you say on the internet  only say what you would be happy to say to some random person on the street.do not give out your home telephone number on the internet. When you make the telephone number available it will lead the person directly to your name and address all they have to do is track you down get your number and act like one of yours friends and get to you.
1.never put your name address or phone number on the internet.
2.don't put the wrong types of pictures up there.
3.if you have any problems with anyone on the internet or feel something isn't right let an parent or adult know.

schools should be teaching us manners on the internet and how to act on the internet because some people need to learn how to act up on the internet .they should be teaching us on how to be an good cyber citizen

If you are in an online gaming room and someone that you do not know asks you about personal information (same age as you-or close), what do you do?

if I'm in a chat room and somebody ask me a personal question even doe we close to the same age . i wouldn't tell them i would want to know why they want to know .but that's how you get to know each other if its an sexual question i wouldn't answer of we just getting to know each other that fine with me as long as the answer the question first.

i think the way you should act on the web is carry your self and a responsible manner. dont put to much information out and don't expose your self cause millions of people are  looking at what you are doing .and a lot of things could happened now a days   

If you feel uncomfortable in any chat room, find something "a little weird" on Facbook/MySpace, or just think something is wrong online. What do you think you should do? Why?

if i find something a little weird on any chat room and it don't involve me i wouldn't say anything cause it not my business to say nothing.if it got something to do with me on face book / my space i will delete the person or whatever it is.  to be on the safe side of the situation.

Do you think that the dress code will enhance your learning experience? What do you plan to do differently this year to be more successful in this class and school in general?

i do not think the dress code will change anybody it don't depend on your clothes to do the work its on you if you do your work or not .i seriously plan to go to all my classes and do my work all the time try and not to miss any days and to be on time all the time.
